What Is Dhammunism
Dhammunism is a spiritual-political philosophy founded by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th Century it dissipated into sectarianism in India and was rediscovered by Mathuresh Das, designed to liberate humanity from the suffering caused by modern materialistic systems and reconnect us with the eternal laws of nature—Dhamma.
Unlike Western ideologies rooted in consumerism, atheism, and artificial order, Dhammunism is not merely a belief system or political doctrine. It is a way of life, a complete cosmology, and social vision that integrates:
- The eternal natural law (Dhamma) is the ultimate foundation of ethics, governance, and behavior.
- Varna-ashrama-dharma, the Vedic model of organizing society around spiritual and functional alignment.
- Fasting, breatharianism (inedianism), and human photosynthesis are disciplines to restore bodily purity and mental clarity.
- Insight Meditation, hatha yoga, namely MANJI Yoga, leads to Bhakti Bhav (devotional consciousness), the highest form of inner purification and connection with the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
- A rejection of false scientism, modern legal fictions, and atheistic revolutionary ideologies that uproot man from his divine purpose.
The Dhammunist heart is about replacing the artificial and atheistic systems of the West with a society governed by truth, spiritual science, and divine order. It is not a religion, nor is it a rigid political system—it is the Kingdom of Heaven within, manifested outwardly through just society and awakened individuals.
Mathuresh Das writes in his manifesto:
The aim is to give those who read it an understanding of the system in which we live and the tools to experience freedom from suffering within. As a result, the need for the current system will naturally render itself obsolete.
This is a post-political, post-religious, and post-material worldview—one that seeks to restore sacred order and liberate consciousness.
